Prime Minister-designate Saad Hariri sponsored this evening the opening of the Hilton Hotel in Beirut Central District, in the presence of Deputy Speaker Elie Ferzli and Ministers Yaacoub Sarraf, Owadis Kidanian and Michel Pharaon.

Hilton Beirut Downtown is located in Beirut’s central district, close to a range of shops, restaurants and bars. It is a short walk away from Zaitunay Bay and Beirut’s picturesque waterfront and just 8.6 kilometers from Rafic Hariri International Airport.

The modern hotel offers a range of spacious guest-rooms, including deluxe rooms, executive rooms and a luxurious Presidential Suite. Each room has an ergonomic desk chair, a comfortable ‘Hilton Serenity Bed’ and high-speed Wi-Fi. Guests staying in executive rooms have access to the exclusive Executive Lounge, which offers complimentary breakfast, drinks and snacks. All rooms are accessible via Digital Key, the mobile-enabled room key technology that enables Hilton Honors members to simply and securely open the door of their room, as well as any other area of the hotel that requires a key, at the touch of a button available through the Hilton Honors app.

At the rooftop pool (which is open during the summer season), guests can take a dip whilst enjoying stunning views of the Mediterranean Sea. A fitness center, treatment/massage room, sauna and steam room complete the offer. In addition, the hotel offers a Mediterranean fusion restaurant, Gatsy House, and a lobby bar which offers drinks and light snacks.

Ideal for meetings and events of all sizes, Hilton Beirut Downtown features more than 575 square meters of flexible meeting space. The ballroom, which can accommodate up to 500 people (standing), features five screens and built-in wireless sound and lighting. In total, there are five flexible meeting rooms. In addition, there are spacious break out areas which are perfect for coffee breaks, cocktail receptions and buffets.
